NCHD COVID-19 Testing Sites and Hotline Hours Updated

North Central Health District (NCHD) is changing the hours for the district’s COVID-19 testing sites and the district’s Testing Line, 1-844-987-0099.
Effective Saturday, June 6, the hotline will operate Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Beginning Monday, June 8, NCHD specimen points of collection (SPOC) hours will be adjusted. Sites open on weekdays will operate 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Houston and Macon-Bibb Counties’ SPOCs will also operate Saturdays 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sundays by appointment. SPOC sites are only open to individuals with scheduled appointments. SPOCs operate on the following schedule:

As Georgia reopens businesses, events and other venues, it is important for everyone to continue to protect themselves and others from the spread COVID-19 in every community:
- Wash your hands often with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water a not available, us an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Avoid touching your nose, eyes and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact with people who are ill.
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Cover your cough and sneeze with a tissue, then dispose of the tissue. If a tissue is not available, use the inside of your elbow to cover yourself.
- Regularly clean and disinfect high-touch objects and surfaces.
- Wear cloth face coverings in places where maintaining a six-foot distance from others is difficult or impossible.
- Follow industry guidelines for business reopening to ensure the safety of employees and clients.
