Registration For Local Nurse Volunteers

We’re looking for local nurses to help out at each of the shelters for Hurricane Irma evacuees. Registration is simple:

  1. Nurses with a valid Georgia RN or LPN license can sign up on the Georgia Nurse Alert System at ServGA.gov.
  2. Call the NCHD emergency operations center at 478-254-2079. We’ll need to confirm your license.

Once your license has been verified, you may receive a shelter assignment. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own food and water while working at a shelter.
