ServSafe® Manager Training

Better Practices Through Education

Are you responsible for preventing food-borne illnesses and upholding requirements of the FDA Food Code? Through the ServSafe® Manager Training course, you can improve your food safety and sanitation skills through our nationally recognized course. Each training session includes:

  • A ServSafe® Manager book
  • Instruction from ServSafe® certified trainers from North Central Health District
  • A certificate from the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) issued upon successful completion of the exam.

Training Topics

ServSafe® Manager Training is a comprehensive course on food safety and sanitation that covers a wide variety of topics including:

  • Providing safe food
  • Forms of contamination
  • Safe foodhandling
  • The flow of food – covering food safety during purchasing, receiving, storage, preparation and service
  • Food safety management systems
  • Safe facilities
  • Pest management
  • Cleaning and sanitizing


One registration form must be completed and submitted for each person attending the course. Payment must included with the registration form to guarantee a seat in class and course materials. No walk-in registration will be accepted. Seating is limited and registrations are processed in the order they are received. Each participant must attend both days of the course as listed. Substitutions can be made with prior notice. Cancellations have a $50 non-refundable fee.

The course fee is $130 ($170 if registering after the deadline) and includes course instruction, a manager book, workshop supplies, certification exam and breaks.
