Macon-Bibb Prepares Cold Weather Shelters
Posted December 8, 2016 by Michael Hokanson
The Macon-Bibb County EMA is partnering with the Salvation Army of Central Georgia to provide a warming center for anyone in need of a place to escape from low temperatures.
When the temperature drops below 40 degrees the warming center will open at 1955 Broadway in Macon and provide protection from the cold. It is important for everyone to stay warm and safe as we enter winter. If you know anyone that may benefit from a warming center, share this information with them.
