Macon-Bibb County Health Department to Host Event Honoring Breast Cancer Survivors

Macon-Bibb County Health Department invites the community to a presentation to hear the stories of local breast cancer survivors in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
There will be a documentary viewing, presentation, and a call to action.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, MBCHD wants to share the stories of local survivors. Three local breast cancer survivors will share their journey from diagnosis to treatment and recovery. The women share their intimate stories to raise awareness and encourage early detection.
Event speakers include Tonya Lee, Stephanie Wright, and Brandi Jackson. The event will be hosted by Dr. Yvette Monique Davis-Smith, Atrium Navicent Family Medicine Residency Program Director.
The event will be on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at the Douglass Theatre located at 355 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Macon, GA 31201. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
