The mission of the Jasper County Health Department is to provide preventive healthcare services to the whole community. Jasper County is a recent addition to the Cities Readiness Initiative (CRI) in the Atlanta Metropolitan Area and is making great strides in preparing Jasper County for potential public health emergencies. The Health Department, along with many other agencies, strives to enable Jasper County to be a success in emergency preparedness.

Closed on State-Observed Holidays
Walk-ins – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.
WIC clinic is held on Tuesday and Thursday
Julie Embry, a Medicaid Representative is available on Tuesday.

Service Fees & Insurance:
Small fees are charged for some services such as, immunizations, water sampling and septic tank inspections and permits.
Some services are charged on a sliding scale determined by client income. Medicaid/Medicare are billed for participating clients with presentation of card at the time of visit.
No one is denied service due to inability to pay or lack of Medicaid/Medicare.
