COVID-19 Testing Scheduled by County Health Departments

North Central Health District’s COVID-19 testing will now be scheduled by each of the district’s 13 county health departments instead of over the district’s COVID-19 call line. Each county will set appointments according to the following schedule:

To schedule appointments in any NCHD county, with the exception of Houston County, call the health department and speak with a representative. Contact information for each location can be found at NCHD52.org/Locations. Appointments will be required for testing.

Houston County Health Department will begin its partnership with Mako Medical Laboratories on Tuesday, Feb. 2. Mako Medical will begin providing COVID-19 testing at the Houston County Health Department while health department staff focuses on COVID-19 vaccine operations. Registration for testing will be online beginning Feb. 2. Register for COVID-19 testing at Houston County Health Department here: https://mako.exchange/splash/GAmakotesting/. After registering online, you can come to the Houston County testing site Tuesdays & Thursdays, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This change is for the scheduling of COVID-19 testing only. Appointments for COVID-19 vaccination must be made by calling the district call line at 478-749-0179 or 1-844-987-0099.
