Macon-Bibb County Health Department hosting maternal health table talk in partnership with Prime BabyTime Consulting

Macon-Bibb County Health Department (MBCHD) is hosting a Maternal Health Peach Table Talk spritzer in partnership with Prime BabyTime Consulting in Macon, GA.

Community members are invited to attend this event Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at the Rosa Jackson Center located at 1211 Maynard St., Macon, GA 31217.

The Peach Table Talk is meant to educate the community on how to take care of the maternal population. The event will feature an educational and informational roundtable talk on the state of maternal health in Macon-Bibb County. We will focus on community efforts to address disparities and increase awareness, including a discussion on existing policies and programs toward improving pregnancy and health outcomes for African American women.  

The roundtable talk will feature experts including doulas, health educators, licensed counselors, health educators, community advocates and activists. There will be catered brunch, music, prizes, giveaways, free Pack N Plays and car seats for those who qualify. Seats are limited. Please RSVP by contacting the health department at 478-749-0139.
